Emergency Shelter Care
Emergency shelter care is a temporary placement, providing 24-hour care for a child who must be immediately removed from their own home or other placement and for whom no other appropriate placement is available. This program will provide short term care for children from birth to age 17.
CBKN maintains two shelter care facilities. Each home can accomodate up to six children. The first home cares for older boys and the second home cares for younger boys and girls of all ages. The shelter will meet the child's needs both emotionally and physically until a more permanent placement can be located.
